Trail Excitement is Building

Excitement is already building across the Shedding community as Grey Nomad Shedders begin planning their travels and mapping out future Shed visits.

One of them is Barry from the Beenleigh District Men's Shed. Barry travels in his Toyota Camroad campervan — affectionately known as “Betty” — and is looking forward to planning trips through rural areas and connecting with fellow Shedders along the way.

While Betty is currently off the road for a few modifications, Barry is keen to share his adventures once he’s travelling again. A recent trip to Somerset Dam has already whetted his appetite for more.

At 76, Barry jokes he sometimes envies the 36-year-olds travelling full-time — but we reckon the Grey Nomad Men’s Shed Trail is proof that adventure doesn’t have an age limit.
